Actually, I went to NECC, the National Educators and Computers Conference, not ALA. I would have enjoyed ALA more, I think. NECC was an interesting experience (massively huge!), but it's all technology, of course. I have to say I didn't pick up anything that I"m really excited about - most of it was the same kind of stuff we've all been talking about/doing! It was great to get to meet and work with Joyce Valenza, thought. She's wonderful.
